Sharing Is Caring, Mom Problems #01092017

What do you do when your 5-year-old daughter comes home bearing unusual gifts from kindergarten?

Mya came home today bearing gifts from her kindergarten friend "Olivia." She was so excited! While I glanced at her school binder, she placed these gifts around the kitchen. As I glanced up, I am certain the look on my face was as priceless as the gifts she presented. The gifts included Olivia's underwear, a five cent Crayola eraser, and a religious storybook.

This has to be a parenting first, right?! I had so many questions, the first of which, was, "Did 'Olivia' go home wearing underwear?" Thankfully, these APPEARED to be clean. (BTW, she was so upset she couldn't keep them. They were PRINCESS, after all.)

"This has to be a parenting first, right?! I had so many questions..."

The story continued to be more interesting, as I learned there was no classmate named Olivia. The teacher had no idea who blessed Mya with such gifts.

The one redeeming thing I saw from this: Miss Mya made friends with classmates who loved to share. Perhaps, this is the generation that will save us all...

***Disclaimer*** Sadly, these princess undies made their way to the dump. Mya cried so hard she couldn't keep them!
