Proof! Mom Problems #02072014
Every now and again I reflect looking back at old memories of my dynamic duo. An old blog post had this memory for me to reflect on, which, in some form, is still true to this day.
“It’ll be fun,” they said.
Usually, just before they said, “Have them close together, so they can be besties!”
Fast forward 2014, me having two children, three and four years of age. My (almost) Irish twins, Max and Mya, born 14-months apart.
MAX and MYA, Volume 1: (Snow-a-palooza Mom Problems #0207202014.)
“Give your sister a kiss!,” Mama Chickpea exclaimed, as her son behaved poorly. Spiraling in his never-ending, fast-paced whirlwind of a “terrible-twos” persona, aimed directly at his little, innocent sister.
Almost instantly the double-digit storm, leaned in so his younger sister could kiss HIS cheek.
This Mama Pea couldn’t help but smile, anyways. It’s the little things they teach you to see differently, that make children so special… He did love his sister, even if his message was a bit askewed...I hadn’t ruined them, yet!
