Pool Party
It's time again for a homemade party post. This one helps keep you cool in the summer. It's a Pool Party!
Always the hobby mommy on a budget, we set out to plan a party at home. Since we live in the southwest, it is always an issue to keep everyone cool. Our treats helped do just that, while we had a bit of photo fun being shark bait. Mya thoroughly enjoyed our first experience making a balloon banner. It has become a staple at our parties ever since.
We got out our paper mache, acrylic paints, cardboard, and glue, and set to making a fun pinata and photo prop. Needing some flare for the ice cream cake, I sculpted some little pool friend keepsakes from polymer clay. The treats were unique-- sandal cookies, and pool floatie jello. While we utilized dollar store sand toys for snack containers and scoops. It was fun for all, even Miss Lucy Loo Poo.
