To see the World in the eyes of a four-year-old...

Mya: Mom, where are all the flowers? (As I pick her one of the few remaining, on our walk home from school.)

Me: They are getting ready to go to sleep for the winter, Mya. It's too cold for them.

Mya: They need a jacket, Mom. Go get it! Go get it, NOW, Mom!!

And, for the next couple minutes, I proceeded to be yelled at for not listening to her demands, and I was put in a timeout.
