Who doesn't love a perfectly timed emoji?!

Since this mama always hobbies on a budget, and Halloween costumes have become a yearly tradition for our family, I set out for yet another awesome family costume idea. Halloween 2018: Emojis!

I set out for bargain fleece. It is easy to sew and stretches for a good round shape when stuffed. I used thick band elastic in black for the shoulder connections, as well as the side connections. Each person had two stuffed circular pillows with faces. The faces were simple sewn appliques I made and sewed on before sewing the circles to be flipped and stuffed...To someone who sews a lot, this was a fairly easy and entertaining project. It did have never-ending stuffing at times and sewing the stuffed circular pillows shut was a challenge, but the reaction to these costumes was PRICELESS!
